South Bend, IN: Best Week Ever Canceled Due to COVID-19 Concerns

SOUTH BEND, IN:By Jon Zimney -July 14, 2020South Bend Venues Parks & Arts has announced that they’ve made the decision to cancel the annual Best Week Ever festival this year.They said they were hopeful to have the summer celebration go on with some modifications, but the growing concern over the rise in COVID-19 cases in the region has forced them to cancel.Plans had been announced for the fourth annual Best Week Ever event, Saturday August 1 through Saturday August 8, after being postponed in May.

The schedule was to include:August 1: Side-by-Side Parade: Honoring our Local Heroes at East Bank VillageAugust 2: Rebel Art Festival at Potawatomi ParkAugust 3: Dueling Pianos at Leeper ParkAugust 4: Southeast Celebration at Southeast ParkAugust 5: Best. Wednesday. Ever. on Western AvenueAugust 6: Recreation Day at Rum Village ParkAugust 7: Best. First. Fridays.
